What to check before buying Home deals
Home deals cover a wide range, from bedding, storage and decor to small kitchen appliances and cleaning supplies, so the same percentage off means very different things from one item to the next. Thirty percent off towels you will use for years is a different decision from thirty percent off a gadget you will use twice.
Start with the space. Measure the shelf, counter or doorway before you look at the price, because a wrong size is a common reason home purchases go back. When a listing is a multipack, divide the price by the number of pieces and compare that unit price, not the headline number. For anything with a motor or a heating element, read the wattage, the cord length and what the listing says about the warranty. For bedding and textiles, trust the stated dimensions and materials over the product photo.
Finally, look at delivery or pickup options at checkout, because the card price is only part of what a bulky item costs you.
- Measure the space first
- Compare multipacks by unit price
- Read wattage, cord length and warranty on appliances
- Check sizes and materials on textiles
How we check prices: prices come from Walmart’s own catalog and are dated on each card; we hide any list price more than 4× the sale price. The price at Walmart is the price you pay. How we pick deals.

Home deals FAQ
How do I compare two similar home products?
Line up the same facts for both: dimensions, materials, what is included in the box, the unit price if it is a multipack, and the warranty. If one listing leaves a fact out, treat that as a reason to ask or to pick the clearer listing.
Is a bigger percentage off always the better home deal?
No. A large markdown from a high list price can still cost more than a plain, fairly priced alternative. Judge the price you pay against what you would pay elsewhere for the same item.
