How we pick deals
What we show, what we filter out, and how we rank.
Short version: we show real discounts, rank them for shoppers, and tell you where each one came from.
Where deals come from
Walmart deals are pulled from Walmart’s own product catalog. Amazon picks are chosen by hand. Every card names its source and shows the date we found the deal.
What we filter out
If a “was” price looks inflated, for example a $4 item that claims to be worth $94, we hide the markdown rather than show a fake saving. Items without a usable price or image can still appear, but we never invent the missing data.
How we rank
The default order uses a score that weighs three things for shoppers: how much demand there is for the category, how many dollars you save, and how believable the discount is. A small commission-based factor, under a tenth of the score, only breaks ties between otherwise equal deals. It cannot lift a deal shoppers do not want. Nobody can pay to be featured.
How fresh the information is
Each card shows found followed by a date, and the footer shows when prices were last refreshed. Prices and availability change quickly, so the price on the retailer’s site is the one that counts.
What we do not do
- We do not show Amazon prices or product images.
- We do not track prices over time or send price-drop alerts.
- We do not ask you to create an account. Saved deals stay in your browser.
