76 days to go — the smart money preps now
Walmart hasn’t announced its 2026 event dates yet (we’ll update this page the moment it does), but in recent years its “Deals for Days” events ran in several waves through November, with early online access for Walmart+ members. The calendar part is certain: Thanksgiving is Nov 26, Black Friday is Nov 27, and Cyber Monday is Nov 30.
Black Friday is fake-markdown season. We’re the antidote.
November is when inflated “was” prices peak: a reference price quietly raised in October makes a so-so November price look heroic. Our system rejects reference prices it can’t believe (anything over 4× the sale price never even reaches this site), and a real person reviews what we publish. When we show a discount, the “was” is Walmart’s own price — not a story. Learn the tricks yourself: How to spot a fake discount · The best time to buy, by category.
How to prep (15 minutes, saves real money)
- Make the list now. Impulse is the house edge. Write down the 3–5 things you actually need, with the price each sells for today — that number is how you’ll know a real deal in the noise.
- Price-anchor this week. Check your items’ current prices so November’s “70% OFF” banners can’t fool you about what changed.
- Consider Walmart+ if you’ll shop the event. In past years members got early access windows to the online waves. See current Walmart+ offers →
- Set up your alerts. Join the Telegram (above), and follow @snagdailydeals — our daily posts are the short list, not the firehose.
- Know the return window. Holiday purchases usually carry extended returns at major retailers — check the policy on anything you’re unsure about before you buy.

Key dates & what the pattern says
Thanksgiving: Thursday, Nov 26, 2026 · Black Friday: Friday, Nov 27 · Cyber Monday: Monday, Nov 30.
Walmart hasn’t announced 2026 events yet (2025’s were announced in late October — expect the same). The recent pattern: two Black Friday events (one mid-November, one Thanksgiving week) plus an online-only Cyber Monday, with Walmart+ members getting ~5-hour early online access to each wave the evening before. Walmart’s June 2026 event added a newer twist — 24-hour member-exclusive deal drops — which may well return in November. We’ll update this page the day the 2026 schedule lands.
Honest FAQ
Are Black Friday discounts actually the year’s best? Sometimes. TVs and big electronics: usually yes. Appliances, tools and home: often matched at other sales (see our timing guide). Toys frequently drop again in mid-December. The trap isn’t buying on Black Friday — it’s buying something you didn’t price-check.
Do we mark up urgency? No. If we can’t verify a claim, we don’t make it — no fake countdowns, no “only 3 left” theater. Prices are stamped when checked and can change; that’s the only urgency that’s real.
